Radio City Apartments

The location was super convenient, the room was a decent size, and it was very quiet. I slept well on the comfortable bed, and there was plenty of hot water. The decor's a bit dated, but who cares? I loved my recent stay in New York. Highly recommended.

We'd happily stay here again, even if it were just for the location. The hotel is only steps from Times Square and lots of major attractions. Our room was smallish and a bit dated, but having a full kitchen was a huge plus. The lift is tiny and can mean a wait when it's busy. When the heater wasn't working right and us Australian girls were freezing, the front desk quickly brought another one so we could warm up. The staff were genuinely friendly and very accommodating. It was a very enjoyable stay.

We were able to walk to just about everything, without getting swallowed up by crowds. The hotel sits right in Midtown on 49th St, near Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, Broadway theaters, and handy subway access. The kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, and stove, which worked well for breakfast and snacks and helped keep meal costs down. Rooms were clean and the beds comfy, though space is tight and the decor feels dated. Front desk staff were friendly, housekeeping came daily, and they helped quickly when we needed something. Good value for NYC and a solid sightseeing base. I'd stay again. 4 stars.

For Midtown, the room was a decent size, and the bathroom was new with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen came fully stocked. The hotel was quiet apart from Midtown traffic, and the Radio City Apartments were fantastic for the price and location. The climate controls weren't up to the job. It was 30 degrees outside but nearly 80 in our room, so we had to leave the windows open to cool it down.
