The balcony was lovely and the views were magnificent. The hotel was very clean, and it smelled wonderful as soon as you walked in. Staff were kind enough to let me leave my bags in the back before a flight. Definitely a 10 out of 10 for that. I'll be back.

We had a great weekend at the Ravel Hotel. Our first room was beautiful, but the heat wasn't working. We called the front desk and they sorted it out right away, then upgraded us for free to an even better room. On the ninth floor it had a king-size bed, private balcony, and one of the most breathtaking views of NYC. Seeing the Queensboro Bridge right outside when we woke up was unreal, and the skyline was just as beautiful at night. The staff were professional, accommodating, and made the stay feel special. We'd absolutely come back on another NYC trip.

I've stayed at the Ravel Hotel several times, once for more than a week, and have been consistently impressed by how clean and casually luxurious it feels. The rooms are roomy and elegant, and housekeeping does a great job every night. Most, if not all, rooms seem to have balconies with pretty good views. You can request many amenities, and the vending machines are well stocked with snacks and soft drinks. The front desk team is friendly and helpful, and it feels very luxurious for the price. The nearest train is a bit of a walk. As of late November 2025, not all TVs had WiFi for Netflix and similar services, and the lobby coffee machine was out of order.

The location is the main caveat: it's around an 11-minute walk to the subway, and the route isn't always well lit at night and can feel a little shady, so be cautious. The hotel has lovely skyline views, especially toward Long Island City, and the balcony is included. The room was spacious and clean, and staff were generally friendly. My deposit was returned reliably within 24 hours of checkout, which other hotels don't always manage. They also have parties, but the noise is bearable. With the comfortable big rooms and quick, efficient, friendly service, I'd definitely recommend it.
