The staff were polite from the moment we walked in, and there was a refreshing self-serve water station in the beautiful lobby. Before check-in, they asked if it was our first time in NYC and recommended the Empire State room view, then gave us a complementary upgrade. The view was beautiful, a classic New York scene against the other department buildings. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed, with a clever layout where everything fit perfectly. The TV worked and had plenty of options, great for relaxing after a long day walking around manhattan. The shower and bathroom were clean and spacious, with just-right water pressure and temperature. I’d definitely stay at Draper again 🤍🗽

The employees made a strong impression, always polite, professional, and happy to help with questions or requests. That welcoming attitude carried through the stay. I also slept really well on the comfortable, supportive beds. The room was spotless, and the location made it easy to get around to sights, restaurants, and transport. I was very happy staying at The Draper Hotel, New York (Hilton), and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable New York stay.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and comfortable, and you really can't beat the location in the middle of the city. What made our mini getaway especially nice was the welcome from Vaish at the front desk. She went out of her way to make check-in easy and pleasant, and her kindness set the mood from the start. We had a great experience at the Hilton Tapestry Collection in New York City and would happily recommend it. We'll be back!

We loved our early December stay, and if we return to NY, we'd stay here again without hesitation. The staff were extremely friendly, the room was clean, and it was just a couple minutes' walk from 5th Ave, right in the middle of things. We'd read concerns about the rooms being small, so we booked the premium city-view room. The extra space worked well for us. If room size matters to you, I think the extra $20 to $30 a night is worth considering. A couple of little bathroom details could be improved. There wasn't a hand towel holder, and the sink had so little room that we sometimes put the towel under it while arranging toothbrushes, paste, and other daily items. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were mounted on the wall, with no shelf for our own products, so our soap had to sit on the shower floor. A corner shelf would help. Those were minor annoyances, though, and we had no other complaints.

The beds were comfortable and there was a nice bar, but I wouldn't pay the advertised $300-$400 for these rooms. They were extremely small, and the extra-cost “city view” looked out at apartment buildings and a back alley right by the window. We used points, so the room came to around $120, which made me glad we weren't paying full price. The service was kind. We only stayed one night, and I don't think it would have been worth staying longer.
