A good, affordable choice in NY, with clean rooms and good service. The location was the best part: a bus stop and metro nearby, plus a Seven Eleven, Cake boss bakery, an affordable deli, a hotdog place, a hamburger restaurant, and a nice restaurant bar right across the street. I didn’t eat at the hotel, and I don’t remember whether it had a restaurant. I liked the place and would stay again if I needed to.

The attached deli was a big plus, with cheap breakfast and lunch that was actual food, not fast food. The hotel was clean and comfortable, quiet, and just a few blocks from times square. It’s not especially up to date, but that didn’t matter to me since I wasn’t planning to spend much time indoors. Having a pool is rare for NY, and the price wasn’t anywhere near a million dollars per night like some other hotels. I’m very happy with it and can’t wait to come back.

I really like Cushmans and the stuff they have. I’ll be there for you and serve you, and you won’t have problems. I got drunk in the jail where I live. I’m going, and I had a lot of fun yesterday. Hope you all come too and have a great time.

The standout for us was the parking: the garage is right outside the hotel, and at $20 a day it was the best rate in the city for us, compared with the $40 or more we usually pay. After checkout, we could leave our car and luggage there instead of checking the bags at the front desk. The staff we met at both the hotel and garage were very nice and helpful. We were in New York for four days with our sons, who are 10 and 12. We usually avoid touristy spots, but for our first City trip with them we wanted to be near the Times Square attractions. The hotel is a few blocks from there and a little closer to the nearest metro, so the location worked well. The room was quite dated and not spotless, though it was neat and clean enough. We didn’t use the pool because we were busy around the City, but it looked nice from our room. A few annoyances: the TV remote didn’t work, though maybe we should’ve asked for batteries, there were only three towels for four of us until we requested more, and the hotel is very close to the bus station. We thought it was a good deal for the location, parking, and atmosphere. I’d stay again, but one desk clerk said they planned to close in December because a new high-rise was going to be built there. What a shame.
