The rooms were comfortable and very good, and both the location and welcoming service felt five-star. The area is incredibly convenient. A strong four-star stay for me.

After busy days in the city, the hotel and surrounding area were quiet and restful. Our room was clean, a good size for New York, and cozy. Staff were friendly, too. You can walk to coffee, a nice pub, several restaurants, the metro, and the Statue of Liberty. Times Square was a quick ride on the subway. We’ll absolutely stay here again.

Our 11-year-old loved how friendly and welcoming the hotel felt, and we were glad we chose it for our family trip. The breakfast was just right before a busy day in town, especially the tasty crescent rolls. Coffee was always hot and ready, and the woman looking after the breakfast area was fantastic. Check-in and checkout were easy. The hotel is well placed for exploring downtown, and our Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The bed could have been more comfortable, though our son liked his bed and pillows. Stone St is right beside the hotel, so Saturday night can be noisy. We were on the fifth floor, and with the windows shut, we didn’t have an issue. We stayed during Halloween and the NYC Marathon, and would consider this the only place to stay next time we’re in the city.

The location is handy for the ferry and within walking distance of downtown, the 9/11 memorial, the Oculus, and the World trade building. The room had lovely antique wallpaper and furniture. Breakfast was just okay, and could use a little egg or meat. The luggage storage was easy to use and free before or after the stay. The fitness room could also be improved with some dumbbells.
