Wyndham Garden Chinatown

The free breakfast was a letdown. I'd seen reviews saying it was good, but maybe it was an off weekend or the holiday, because I found the food inedible. The scrambled eggs were especially bad, and the dark, moody room felt more like a nightclub than somewhere to eat breakfast. I travel a lot, and this was the worst hotel breakfast I've had. The staff were awesome, friendly, and helpful. From my brief encounters, the other staff seemed just as friendly. For NYC, the rooms and bathrooms are fairly spacious. The location is good, and although it's noisy and busy outside, the hotel itself stays quiet.

This was our family's second stay here during Chinese New Year week, and we love the place. The location is handy for the CNY events we attend, with lots of good food nearby. The rooms are cozy and very clean, and the shower pressure is fantastic. The Front Desk Staff, Housekeeping, and Cafe crew are all sweet, helpful, and wonderful, especially Steve and Pedro. My kids loved it, and even my LION loved it too!☺♥

We could walk to lots of places from this hotel, so the location was great. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy, and Zhane at the front desk was efficient, fast, and very helpful. My only issue was the room keys. They kept quitting on us, and we had to get them fixed about five times.

I arrived late for work without the right card, and the electronic form wasn't working. Claudia at the front desk understood the situation and called her GM to figure out a solution. She helped arrange a late checkout and then switched the card when my fiancé flew in the next morning. Blanca was just as helpful at the desk that morning. Even with a long line, she was quick, pleasant, and understanding. Great place to stay.
