Carnegie Hotel

We were in town for a major high-profile event, so Midtown was chaotic, but the hotel team handled everything with grace and professionalism. From the moment we arrived, staff stood up, smiled, and greeted us like royalty. They even offered complimentary wine and a beautiful platter of fruit, cheese, and nuts. Our Manhattan stay felt like a dream. The room was modern, quiet, and comfortable, with thoughtful details and well-appointed finishes. With just 4-5 rooms on each floor, the place felt very boutique, and it sits in a prime Midtown spot near several subway stations. Thank you to the whole team. You were fantastic, and we'll absolutely stay here again soon.

For its NYC location, this is excellent value. The building is small and squeezed between others, but the room was outstanding, clean, comfortable, and well kept. The rate included breakfast and a wine and cheese hour, both nice extras. Breakfast choices are limited for the size of the property, but otherwise very good. 10/10, would recommend.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and the complimentary wine and cheese hour was a nice treat. I also left my earrings in the room at checkout. They had put them aside, so I got them back when we came to collect our bags. Losing them would've been awful. The location is really convenient for Broadway, Central Park, and subway stations. The bed was very comfortable, neither too soft nor too firm. The street can get noisy, but closing the windows kept most of it out.

The bright, open room with a gorgeous city view helped me relax as soon as I arrived. In the morning I woke to an orange sunrise reflecting off the nearby buildings. The bed was comfortable, and I didn't want to leave. I was in the city for one night to catch a show, and The Carnegie Hotel was perfectly placed for a short, safe-feeling walk back from the theater. The front desk made check-in easy and gave me friendly, helpful dinner suggestions based on what I was craving, all within walking distance. Checkout was quick and friendly too. I had a lovely stay and would love to come back.
