Feliz, Paula, Fatima, and especially Raquel were fantastic. The staff here are kind, understanding people, including the cleaning team. They sometimes have to deal with difficult guests, so please go easy on them.

The cigarette smell was unbelievably strong, even though smoking was supposedly not allowed. The pillows were small and very firm, and I slept badly. The shower water didn’t run well either. The bathroom was dirty, and the towels looked and smelled like they’d been washed after the previous guest. There were cockroaches, a dirty floor, and even a hole in the blanket. It was the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. It’s very cheap, so maybe it’s bearable for one night if that’s all you need, but I’d avoid it if possible.

If you only need somewhere inexpensive to crash for a night or a very short stay, this could work. Just remember you get what you pay for. The place is dated, and although they’ve tried some renovations, the finish still isn’t great if quality matters to you. There isn’t much shopping nearby, and the closest restaurants are probably about a mile and a half away on foot.

I rented a room and ran into a problem with a debit card hold. Be careful using a debit or credit card here. Once they put a hold on it, they don’t respond well when you ask for help getting it released. I requested the release last Friday and by Tuesday I’d called every day. Each time, I was told, “I’m busy, I haven’t sent the release letter to your debitor.” I’m nearly 30, and this is the first negative review I’ve ever written. If you’re fine with a couple hundred dollars or more being held for 30 days, then… I understand wanting lower rates, but nobody can afford that uncertainty and wait.
