We’ve been here four times, and the staff have always been kind and welcoming. The bartender who took our food order was especially friendly and made us feel at ease. The rooms are consistently clean, the beds are comfortable, and the showers spotless. We’ve enjoyed the food, though I’d like a few more choices. Breakfast is a simple, standard buffet, but convenient. This visit was much harder than the others. We’d been at the hospital all day while my child had surgery and were exhausted, so we really needed a quiet place to recover. The first night, a child in the room above ran and jumped until almost 3 a.m., then kept at it during the day. We asked to switch rooms. The first-floor room was even noisier, with doors slamming all night, possibly staff doors, people talking near the front, and very heavy footsteps overhead that sometimes sounded like stomping. I know a hotel can’t control guests’ behavior, but with a property this large, it surprised me that both rooms were under areas with so much activity. We’ve never had this kind of noise on earlier stays, which made this especially disappointing. It’s a beautiful place, but we didn’t get the restful stay we’d hoped for this time.

The hotel feels very new inside, from the lobby and hallways to the rooms. There’s a spacious lobby with seating, a staffed check-in desk, breakfast buffet area, and a bar off to the side. The fitness center and indoor pool are on the first floor. The location is quiet, just off the 880 highway and surrounded by auto dealerships. Parking is easy and available at the rear, though entry is through the main door or two side entrances. EV chargers are available for a fee. In the room there was enough storage and hanging hooks, and the shower had complimentary body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

My room was roomy, spotless, and good value for the price. I liked the smart TV for Netflix, and it was a nice surprise to find a dental kit. Breakfast was complimentary, with a slightly different spread each morning: oatmeal, cereal, eggs, potatoes, and sausages. There’s also a shared microwave on the first floor and a small indoor pool. The lobby bar happy hour was a highlight, with $5 draft beers Monday through Friday from 5 to 7 PM. Front desk staff were attentive and professional, and my three-night, four-day stay went smoothly. Parking costs $15 a night, which seemed a bit unnecessary for the location, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I’d consider staying again.

The breakfast alone made this one of the best affordable hotels I’ve stayed at in the bay. It was the best I’ve had at a non-luxury hotel, and honestly beat some luxury places. My room had a couch, working thermostat, and sleek bathroom, with a modern feel throughout. It was in the $100-200 per night range, though that was in winter. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for an extended stay here.

There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and breakfast was great. The service was great too, and our room was clean. The pool was accessible as stated. We were right by the freeway, but it didn’t bother us or make the room noisy, and the shade kept the sun out. Everything for the couch sleeper was easy to find, and setting it up was simple.
