Fairfield Inn & Suites Portland Newberg

We found it easy to drive into Downtown Newberg, McMinnville, and the surrounding area. The public spaces and rooms were very clean, and the staff were professional while giving great service. Breakfast was simple but good. A great base for visiting the northern Willamette Valley wineries, and I highly recommend it.

I’m already missing this place and hope I can come back soon. I’ve never had this level of service at a hotel before. David and Ladonna in the kitchen are wonderful, and Stephanie and David at the morning desk are just as lovely.

The Fairfield is a comfortable option in Newberg, with 10/10 service. You get free parking and breakfast, plus a complimentary wine taste each day. One thing to know, rooms are cleaned every other day, so don’t toss your towels on the floor right away like I did. That’s why I’d give the rooms 4/5. It isn’t a Ritz Carlton, but it’s great for what you need, and the service was excellent.

We based ourselves here for a few nights while checking out nearby wineries and vineyards. The hotel is convenient, the staff are professional and helpful, and the wine tasting bar is fun. The rooms are very nice, and the gym is one of the better hotel gyms I’ve seen. Highly recommend.
