Breakfast was almost below acceptable. I couldn't drink the coffee, and the apple juice tasted like plain water. They must have forgotten the magical powder that made the other water look orange, because that juice was undrinkable too. The only thing I could eat was the waffles. The hotel is old, and even though the rooms are meant to be non-smoking, ours smelled like people had enjoyed cigars in bed years ago. There was no sound insulation, and the guy next door watched loud TV all night until morning. Our friends across the hall could hear it as well. The hotel was basically empty, so I don't understand why they put guests in neighboring rooms. A pretty bad experience. Never again.

For $189 a night, it felt overpriced. The room was dated, though I guess it would suit someone who wants a bathtub right beside the bed. The sheets and bedding were clean enough, but there was mold in the shower. The TV and microwave didn't work, and there was only one towel per person.

The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh. I gave it four stars because there wasn't a hair dryer or an iron in the room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn next door! Here, customer service had to track down a manager whenever we had a question, the rates were higher, and every request we made was turned down.

The pool was unavailable during our stay, though there is a gym and laundry room. Inside, the halls were updated and clean, and the room was nice, with comfortable beds that were on the soft side. It had a good-sized TV, a decent fridge, and a microwave. The bathroom was okay, but the light and blower shared a switch, so it was loud at night. The shower curtain wouldn't stay in place on the curved rod, and water ended up all over the floor. Breakfast is free, but it wasn't very good, so I'd probably eat elsewhere. The outside looks a little more dated than the remodeled interior. Some lobby bulbs were burnt out and should probably be replaced, since it made the open, inviting lobby look less appealing.
