Bad weather interrupted our long drive home from Florida to Ohio, and we needed a place that could accommodate our dogs and toddler. Phil at the front desk was so kind and made the stop really enjoyable. Thanks for all you do!

A big thank you to the woman working the front desk night shift on 4/26/25-4/27/25. We'd had trouble at another Hilton hotel, and she took the time to make us feel welcome and comfortable, always with a smile. Her effort didn't go unnoticed.

We stayed four days and three nights in a two-queen suite, and it was better than I expected. There was plenty of room, lots of drawers and counter space, and even a pullout table on wheels. The full kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and the room was clean and comfortable. Parking was plentiful and the location convenient. Breakfast was fabulous, with lots of good options, and the staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating. Debra Hyler went above and beyond to make our stay, and other guests' stays, go perfectly. I'd highly recommend this place for a visit to the Newberry area and will be back.

We arrived after 1:30 a.m. and were settled into our room after 2. We were in town only to serve legal papers on Saturday, not for a vacation. As IHG members, we thought the hotel might allow a one-hour later checkout after such a late arrival. We even offered to pay, but were told, “No. Checkout is at 11:00, no exceptions.” I could understand that if the hotel were full, but there's little in Newberry to draw visitors and fill a hotel for the weekend. We travel a lot, and this is only the second time a hotel has refused a late checkout. It makes me wonder what the point is of joining and hoping for member benefits. We'll think twice before booking Hilton properties again. Very disappointing.
