TownePlace Suites by Marriott Newnan

The water in the bathroom was the one problem. It was so hot we couldn't use the sink faucet, although the kitchen sink worked. Water from the tub came out brown at first, then cleared after a couple of minutes. Not a great feeling, but otherwise it was a pretty good stay. Service was excellent, with friendly, helpful front desk staff. The room was a good size and well equipped, with a kitchenette and large bathroom. I liked the big walk-through closet connecting the kitchenette and bathroom. The location was amazing, next to a huge shopping area with all sorts of stores and restaurants, and just a one-minute drive from City of Hope.

We were in Newnan in June 2025 to close on our retirement home nearby, and the manager, Twalice Morin, made a point of speaking with me personally. We’d asked for checkout around 1:30 because we had a 2:30 appointment. The desk had offered 12:30, and I understood, but when I came back with a luggage cart, Ms. Morin introduced herself and asked why we needed the extra time, even checking whether someone was sick. I explained the appointment. I’ve asked for late checkout at other hotels and been turned down, but no manager had ever taken the time to ask about our situation. We didn’t get the time we’d hoped for, but I really appreciated her kindness and attention. The rest of our stay was lovely too. The room was clean and well appointed, and despite the property being pet friendly, there was no lingering pet smell, which usually bothers my husband because he’s sensitive to it. Staff throughout the hotel were polite and friendly, greeting us with a smile. Cam especially made our stay more pleasant with his warm manner.

Just needed a place for one night at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Newnan, and the room was exactly right for the trip. It was spotless, comfortable, and looked really nice. Had a great stay.

Breakfast was simple, but it was clean and kept refreshed, and it saved us from eating out. We also liked being close enough to walk to the new shopping centers. The staff were the best part, and my family really enjoyed having a kitchen. The kids loved the pool, which goes down to 5.5 feet, and the fire pits and grills are cute. The pull out bed was a little hard, though it actually suited my achy back.
