We had travel trouble and suddenly needed to change our accommodation. Alexander at Mill Street picked up when we called and quickly found us the best deal he could. By the time we arrived, he’d arranged a nice room and got us checked in right away. It was a relief to be met with such a friendly face. The welcome snacks were lovely, parking was easy, and the service was great. Five stars for Mill Street Inn.

The little touches here really add up. We got a welcome bag of snacks, and they even provide a makeup towel. The staff were warm, helpful, and amazing. Parking is limited, though there’s a garage beneath the Inn. The rooms are gorgeous, and you get the same amenities whether you book a studio or a suite. Mill Street Inn is one of the best small luxury hotels I’ve stayed at.

Breakfast showed up at our room every morning, the rooms were really comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. It’s a great little spot right in the middle of everything. Parking gets tricky, especially if you have a big vehicle. Can’t wait to come back!

The building’s older, so expect older mechanical systems. The service was awesome, and it felt good to skip the loyalty cards and stay local. You’re close to town, but you’ll still need a car to get out to the mansions and nature preserves.

Summer 2025. The room and lobby were nice, and the location is great. Still, it didn’t feel like a five-star stay. Our deluxe suite’s carpet and drapes had spots on them, and the rooftop was listed as open but looked like nobody had taken care of it in weeks. Breakfast delivered to the door was more of a small gesture than a meal, both in amount and quality. Streaming on the TV was disabled, too. Some things are easy enough to forgive, but overall, it’ll do.
