One of my favorite places to stay in Newport, Oregon. It’s a budget motel, but the rooms have been newly remodeled. The spot is quiet even though it’s right on Hwy 101, with a grocery store across the street and plenty of good places within walking distance.

The place is older and shows it, but it’s clearly looked after. Our bed and bedding were comfortable, and it was handy to have a fridge and microwave in a pet friendly room. Ours didn’t work, but staff replaced it right away with a new one. The ocean breeze came in through a big window, and we didn’t need to use the baseboard heat. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. I’d happily stay again.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and although the bathroom is old, we had plenty of hot water for our showers. We don’t spend much time in the room, so that worked well for us. Restaurants and grocery stores are an easy walk away. Brian, the manager, was the best part of the stay. His kindness deserves high praise.

It was incredibly cheap, and I’d absolutely stay here again. The bed was so comfortable and the staff were friendly. One towel was kind of gross, but they swapped it out without any trouble.

The rooms are a bit dated, but still good, and the price worked well for our budget trip. We were close to lots of things we wanted to do, and the service was AMAZING. We had a great time and would stay here again if we come back to newport.
