We had just one night at the Serenity Inn in January, and Room 2 was beautiful, just like the website pictures. Its bathroom was especially lovely, with a double vanity and a huge tiled shower with two shower heads. The fireplace was a nice extra in January. One thing to know about this room: it’s beside the main lobby and across from the breakfast room, so we heard people coming and going and the breakfast noise. We had to get up early and were only staying one night, so it didn’t bother us much, but it might on a longer visit. Kathy greeted us warmly, showed us the room features, and gave us a quick introduction to the area. The marina and nearby restaurants are a short walk away. Breakfast was delicious, cinnamon French toast with bacon, and the breakfast room was lovely. It stays open 24/7, with coffee, tea, and hot water. I really appreciated the hot tea when we got back late on a cold night. There’s also a small shared fridge for leftovers. My husband and I had a great stay, and I’d happily return and recommend the Serenity Inn.

We could walk to everything from here, and we’ll be back. My wife and I spent part of Memorial Day weekend in Newport for the first time, trying a bed and breakfast for the first time too. It was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room was huge and had a two-person rain shower, and it was quiet. Breakfast was fabulous. Thanks to Lisa, Toni, and everyone for making our stay so good.

Lisa, the innkeeper, made us feel welcome and served a delicious breakfast. The rooms were clean and quiet, and we loved spending time on the well-equipped outdoor patio and walking around the lovely neighborhood. We visited in mid May and had glorious weather. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it.

Just two blocks away in every direction, there are shops and restaurants. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, even with my picky vegan needs, which I really appreciated. I’m usually not a pancake person, but their homemade ones were so good. We had a great stay!

The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. Serenity Inn is also close enough to walk to lots of shops and attractions. Our room was beautifully put together, with a roomy bathroom and beds comfortable enough to relax in after a day out. It was a wonderful place to stay, and I’d gladly come back and recommend it.
