Homewood Suites by Hilton Newtown - Langhorne, PA

For work trips, the location is convenient for getting where I need to go. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with a studio-apartment feel, and you can also book one with a separate bedroom. They have a hot breakfast buffet every day and a complimentary dinner once a week. A nice place to stay when you're in town on business.

We’re staying here while moving and don’t mind the stairs, but with five floors and so many rooms, Hilton should probably address the need for two elevators. The elevator has been out for 30 days, there’s just one washing machine, and the lobby bathrooms near breakfast have been closed for a week. It feels like they’re trying to save money, even though I’m sure those facilities could be repaired or replaced. The hotel itself is clean, newly renovated, and has spacious rooms.

The package collection service made things easier, and the breakfast had a nice range of choices. Staff were welcoming and helpful right from arrival, and the amenities added a lot to the comfort of my stay. I had a great time at Homewood Suites by Hilton Newtown and would recommend it to people visiting the area.

We only learned the hotel had been without power since 12/19 when we tried to check in after two days of travel. I understand the outage itself was beyond their control, but nobody contacted us or offered any information about other arrangements. They said they couldn’t do anything without power. Couldn’t they have notified corporate, shared options with people left without a place five days before Christmas, or provided a number to call for a refund? There was no effort to help stranded customers. This was extremely unprofessional, and it feels like customers just don’t matter anymore.
