Sterling Inn Niagara Falls near IAG Airport

The room was very clean, the staff were nice, and the bed was comfortable. The mini fridge even had a freezer. Once or twice, people talked loudly outside my room in the middle of the night, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, I had a great stay.

The manager was amazingly nice and very accommodating, and the owners were friendly. The rooms were clean and bug free, which can be hard to find here in Niagara Falls. It’s a very nice, clean hotel.

This is a budget motel, so my expectations weren’t high, but a lot of things were much worse than I anticipated. The staff were friendly, at least. The room was smaller than others in the same price range. The two beds were advertised and booked as queen size, but we got two small full size beds instead. I’ve included a screenshot of the room I booked showing the promised size. Straight out lies. There were food stains or something on the door, the ironing board was dirty and stained, the bathroom floor was wet when we arrived, and there were three flies. The toilet shifted when I moved side to side on it. Cracks and holes in the walls, and water leaks, seemed to be “fixed” with toilet paper and plastic shopping bags. Many electrical outlets were loose or broken, so plugs lost contact and needed to be pushed in every few hours. The fridge never got cold because of it. Often the office was locked with the lights out and nobody there, so you might have to speak through the door intercom. I would not come back or recommend it.

The staff were all very helpful and polite, and everything was very clean. Guest services were the best. I wouldn’t stay at a different motel.
