We’ve stayed at the Super 8 several times a year when visiting from Toronto, and until this trip we’d always loved it. The staff are great, especially Scott, who was helpful and friendly. This time, though, the jacuzzi room we paid extra for as a treat was unusable. Even after running the jets and cleaning the tub three times, they blew out bits of dirt and mold. We tried it at night after the earlier desk clerk had gone home, so there wasn’t anything we could do then. At checkout, the front desk said management would look into a further discount or refund for the price difference, but nothing came of it. That was really disappointing since this has been our hotel of choice, and now I’m not sure it will be in the future.

There are plenty of restaurants and places to refuel nearby, and it felt safe to walk around. Uber access is easy too. The rooms are large and bright, while breakfast is minimal. The property seems older, though it’s been refurbished and renamed recently. We’d definitely recommend it.

The desk staff were really nice and helpful, and the place was clean and quiet. Breakfast was small but pleasant, and the outdoor pool was small and clean too. Our room had a fridge, though there wasn’t a microwave as advertised; one was downstairs. There’s no elevator, so carrying everything upstairs was a bit difficult for us, but we managed. We’d stay again, it was nice.

The location was perfect, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Check-in and checkout were online, so we hardly interacted with staff. The breakfast space looked nice, but it was very basic and packed every morning. There was never much food left, so we ended up going out for breakfast each day.

The room was fine, though nothing fancy. We didn’t ask for daily room cleaning, but the option was there, and we picked up clean washcloths at the front desk each day. Breakfast was disappointing, just toast, cereal, juice, and coffee. They brought out the pancake maker on Saturday, but the dining area was so full there wasn’t a seat. The man who checked us in was great, friendly and helpful, but he was off duty for the rest of our stay.
