The Grand Gorge Villa-With Yard& Parking

We only needed a quick overnight, and the place was easy to access, close to Niagara Falls, and suited us fine. The description was accurate, and communication was easy. A few things could be improved: full-size hand towels for the bathrooms, small coffee filters, and extra blankets and pillows. We also had to kill at least a dozen spiders when we arrived. A thorough spray inside and out would probably take care of them.

The trail across the street was a highlight. We could actually see the horseshoe falls from it, and the park, falls, and casino were all close and easy to reach. Inside, the house was clean and nicely updated, with two bathrooms to choose from. There was plenty of space for our smaller group, everyone had a room, and the living room was cozy with comfortable furniture. Two of us slipped getting into the downstairs shower, which had no anti-slip stickers or railing, so be careful there. I still give the house five stars because we enjoyed our stay, and it was probably one of the nicest homes in the neighborhood.

With four kids, my family made it work for a few days, though a longer stay could’ve been difficult without laundry or a dishwasher. Read the listing carefully, since neither a washer and dryer nor a dishwasher is provided. The home was clean and close to the falls as advertised. We walked there in 20 minutes, or it was a four-minute drive. There are lots of bedrooms, and it’s a good central base for exploring the Niagara region.
