Hampton Inn Niceville - Eglin Air Force Base

The breakfast attendant was incredibly sweet, and everyone on staff was kind and accommodating. I had a fabulous stay despite the remodeling. My only gripe was seeing the woman on site early Sunday morning sitting outside, smoking and looking at her phone.

The room itself was comfortable, and I’d probably stay again because it’s decent and close to family. I didn’t know the hotel was open during renovations until I arrived, so there was plastic and noise, though I understand it’s temporary. Breakfast was served in a guest room, with coffee in the hall. They only do housekeeping every other day, and that was mentioned on a paper with the key that was easy to miss. One odd thing: the air conditioner in a nearby room was extremely loud and kept cycling, which interrupted my sleep. Apart from that, things were fine.

I was welcomed by a warm, pleasant host during my May 12-16 visit. The room was very clean and smelled lovely. Even with the renovations underway, I’d highly recommend staying here.

We had a great view from Room 301, and the houses nearby didn’t bother us. The staff and service were wonderful, the rooms were great, and there’s a nice pool with bathrooms on the first floor right by the pool entrance. Breakfast was included each morning from 6-10, with omelets, sausage, waffles, pastries, fruit, yogurt, and a juice machine. The location was perfect. We stayed six nights, July 2-July 8, and would definitely recommend it. Hope you enjoy the photos from our stay.
