The next morning I asked to add a night and was told I'd been banned. The clerk said the police officer had complained that I shouldn't be there and had claimed I'd invited him into my room. That wasn't true. I told her I hadn't asked him to come in; he'd started talking to me. Still, she accepted his account without asking more, dismissed my request to speak to a manager, and showed no empathy or respect. I left feeling very upset after being accused of something I hadn't done. This started when I arrived to check in and saw an officer talking with another man at the front desk. He asked where I was from, which seemed like friendly conversation. Then I was sent to a room that was already occupied. I went back down to tell the clerk, and the officer seemed to get more hostile, about to confront the guest in that room. The clerk said it was fine and explained she'd forgotten to tell me someone was checked in there. She gave me another key, but I couldn't get the door open. I called downstairs for help and firmly said I wasn't coming back down and needed someone to assist. The officer came up and opened it, then started asking very personal questions and telling me I should return to my home state for my own reasons. I felt overwhelmed by his probing and asked him to leave me alone so I could sleep.

The room was dirty and unkempt, and they wouldn't clean it each day or give me fresh towels and washcloths. The staff and management were rude and disrespectful to me throughout my stay at Aarmada. As a paying customer I should've been treated better. I won't be back.

This was the first time I booked online through an agent to save a little, and the first time I traveled with my Chihuahua. I booked from the parking lot and was upfront about having her. Once inside, they said she couldn't stay without service dog paperwork. I asked for a refund, but they told me to contact the agent. The agent called, and the hotel refused the refund. I'd already paid for the room, and they basically left me without it. After all my repeat stays, that's it for me. They've lost a loyal customer, and I won't return. I've stayed here many times over the past three years, and it was never the best hotel, but in some ways you get what you pay for. One night I woke up with bed bug bites; they moved me to another room, and I let it go and kept staying. I've traveled for about 10 years and know even nice hotels sometimes have bed bugs, so I never posted about that. I also never mentioned the drug use, the signs warning about sex offenders in the area, the questionable quality overall, or the elevator certification that was out of date for about a year. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at this particular hotel many times. I hope whoever runs it checks their records and sees that.

The room was so disgusting that I killed a roach as soon as we walked in. I asked the front desk for another room, but they said no because we'd already entered. When I asked for someone to clean it, they said nobody was working and handed me a broom and dustpan. We didn't stay. Honestly, I just want my money back. This is ridiculous.

I've used this hotel for a couple of years, and it's gone from okay to bad. It used to be clean, but lately I've seen roaches. One room had a ceiling leak and mold. I was in training with my service dog, which I have for medical reasons, and brought the dog with me. I emailed the certified papers to the office as requested, but they still charged a service fee. I told them charging for a service dog was illegal, and they argued that it wasn't. I had nowhere else to go that night, so I paid and asked for a receipt showing what the fee was for. They said they couldn't do that. I asked the manager to write it on the receipt, but she refused and told me I could write it myself. I said that wasn't the same, since I needed the company to document the charge. She eventually wrote it down, then said I was banned because I was trying to argue. I was only explaining that charging for a service dog is very illegal. Be careful if you go there, they may try to charge you for one.
