Nothing fancy, but it worked for a last-minute stay on a low budget. The staff were friendly, and the rooms were fairly clean, though everything felt outdated. I also didn't see any pests, which seems to be an issue at lots of other hotels and motels, even pricier ones. Decent enough stay.

I arrived at 745pm on 2/18/2026 after driving 12 plus hours, exhausted and needing a room. I was told I couldn't get one because I'd posted an honest review of the room they'd put me in. Before that, he'd given me a nasty room, and then blamed the situation on the owner while being upset about my review. The property isn't up to par, and my truthful review will stand. EEOC and BBB need to investigate the living conditions people are put in. Channel 5 or Channel 2 in Atlanta GA should come see the condition of the property. I wish I could post pictures. They're mad because I told the truth, but the only solution is to fix it.

The bathtub was so slimy with excrement that I nearly slipped and hit my head on the tile. It's disgusting and unusable as a hotel for the public. This looked like the best deal on travago, but only by five bucks or so. The county should buy the place and use it as an emergency shelter for displaced people, though they'd need to come sanitize everything first.

In room 207, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The AC didn't work, so the first night was hot and I had to change rooms. The sink faucet only dribbled, too. There were too many fees: they charged $10 onsite because I booked through Expedia. Expedia says that from May 12, 2025, hotel search prices include all mandatory fees and taxes upfront under a new FTC rule, so the final price should match. Rodeway also wanted $20 to let me check in early. No thanks. Other ATL motels have let me in early for free, including Motel 6 Law Hwy Decatur at 12pm last year, and Clarion Doraville, though I don't recall what time.
