Econo Lodge Little Creek

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s very clean and in a perfect spot, especially for a vacation. There are cameras all over the exterior, which makes you feel super safe, and the coffee in the morning is great.

The rooms were clean, and it’s not a bad place at all. It just needs a little updating. It works well if you’re mainly there to sleep, shower, and get back on the road.

I’ve stayed here close to 300 times over the past five years, in at least 80% of the rooms, and I’m confident my next stay will be great as usual. The place is clean and well maintained inside and out, and housekeeping comes every day. The grounds are well lit, with active video surveillance that’s constantly monitored. The staff are some of the nicest people around and do what they can to give guests a great stay. There are no bugs, critters, vermin, or pests of any kind. Also, if you book through a third party and make a booking mistake, the hotel can’t change it. You have to go through the third party site, whether for this hotel or another one, unless you booked through Choice Hotels or the property itself. That’s what those agreement boxes are for. Posting a false or crappy review because you made a mistake or want a refund for made-up reasons is sad. Reviews should help people make informed choices, not serve personal agendas. The location was decent, but the room wasn’t worth the price and was disgusting. There were cigarette holes in the sheets in the smoking room, the bathtubs were nasty, and there were bed bugs and other bugs all over the beds. Room service didn’t knock and just tried to unlock the door. I had to put a table in front of it so I could sleep comfortably.
