I was in town on business and had a smooth arrival at Home2 Suites Norfolk Airport. The front desk welcomed me, and my room was ready right away, so no hanging around the lobby waiting for a key. Even on the third floor, I barely heard anything. No road or hallway noise, and no mystery thumps from upstairs. It was almost suspiciously peaceful. The bed was comfortable, and the heating and AC worked as expected. The room was clean, though the shower leaked water onto the floor and apparently into the room below. Maintenance arranged to recaulk it while I was out, kept me in the loop, and handled it professionally, so the issue was easy to deal with. The breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold choices. The pool looked clean and inviting, though I didn’t use it, and the ice machines were actually clean too. I got in a quick workout in the fitness room, where Jim (the gym 😆) treated me well. I was very comfortable here, with friendly staff and quick help from maintenance. If I’m back in Norfolk, I’d stay again.
