This was the worst place I stayed on the trip. The owner lied about the reservation, so I made it again, and both bookings showed up. They also said they didn’t have a first-floor room, even though they did. That room had no shower, so I had to move to the second floor with my e-bike and trailer, making four trips up and down the stairs. It took over an hour to get a room with a shower. I’m glad my bank refunded me and was happy to open an investigation. I hate liars and cheats.

I paid $240 for two nights and woke up with roaches in the bed. The floors looked like they were never swept. Filthy, disgusting place with some serious audacity to charge anyone. I’d rather sleep outside for free than pay $200 to sleep with an infestation.

Do not come to this hotel. $100 isn’t worth the headache, and they do not provide refunds. The room had a heavy, musty old-cigarette smell, and the door didn’t shut all the way. It could be locked, but the gaps under and along the side weren’t sealed, so the whole floor felt freezing even with the heat on. The blanket was covered in burns, and the sink still had dirt from the previous guest. When I went to shower, a roach fell out of my towel. Roaches were dropping through a hole in the bathroom and coming from behind the mirror. They crawled up the walls, and my wife and I had to fight them while trying to sleep. We were exhausted and didn’t have the energy to find another hotel. The TV remote didn’t work, and the air conditioner/heater was louder than a truck engine. The area and hotel felt sketchy, with lots of homeless people around, and at any moment it felt like we could be robbed. There’s a better hotel 10 minutes away for $90 with breakfast and an indoor pool. Do your research before settling on this place.

The hotel was full of roaches and other bugs, and I was really uncomfortable. It felt like being a little kid living in the Brooklyn projects. I can’t give it less than one star, but if I could, I’d rate it in the negative.

We didn’t see any bugs, despite the earlier reviews, and the room seemed clean. The shower and towels looked newer. It was quiet, the price was decent, and there was food and gas nearby. The location worked well for us, close to the Expo. Nothing fancy, but we liked having a smoking room and it suited what we needed for the weekend. More outlets would’ve helped. The lobby wasn’t open early or late for ice. My husband travels a lot for work, and this was pleasant compared with other places.
