Days Hotel by Wyndham North Bergen NYC Area

The room had a tub, which felt great after a long, cold day, plus a fireplace and heat you could control. The rooms are decent, though some details make it clear this isn't the fanciest place. For the quality, it's a good stay, and I'd consider coming back if the price is fair. Getting around was easy: shuttles into the city are nearby for $6.50 or available on site for $10. Breakfast runs until 10 a.m. and has the basics, including cereal, eggs, breads, fruit, yogurt, sausage, pancakes, and juice.

Parking was a real plus, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly during our October 13th to 17th stay at Days Inn by Wyndham, North Bergen. The rooms were comfortable and clean, with housekeeping doing a great job each day. It's handy for public transport and only a short ride from Manhattan, so it worked well for our New York City visit. Staff were polite and ready to help. Breakfast was good, though a few more choices would improve it. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it as a convenient, comfortable place near NYC.

The breakfast was a little disappointing, since what we found didn't match what we'd been told. Still, the staff were friendly, and I'd definitely recommend the hotel. We stayed three nights last week. It took us a while to locate the place in the busy neighborhood, with another hotel nearby, but once we checked in we were surprised by the room's space, view, and location. It was clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. On our way back, we asked which pizza place the staff member suggested, and she said Summit pizza. Honestly, it was some of the best pizza we've had. The white pizza with garlic, olive oil, and ricotta was a total game changer. We liked it so much that we ordered it again.

My boyfriend needed to be near his employer for a 7 a.m. shift, so we stayed here. I arrived after him and found what looked like a dead bedbug, dust all over, and what appeared to be blood on the floor. The room seemed completely uncleaned. I was traumatized and left. He called, and they said the manager wouldn't be in until 3:00 a.m. Who takes a call about an unsanitary room at 3:00 a.m.? There was hair with bugs and blood. Never again. I don't recommend this hotel.
