Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Brunswick

The evening social time in the dining area was a great idea. They offered free food and drinks from 5:30-7:30, which seemed designed in part to help guests mingle. Breakfast was good too, and the serving area stayed clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I was here for a Monday-to-Friday work week. Check-in on Monday evening was quick, and the room was comfortable, practical, and smelled and looked clean, with the comforts of home. The first night was noisy: a delivery truck idled below my windows while unloading at 4:30 a.m., and someone upstairs stomped around off and on. After that, I slept well. My only other gripe was the TV setup. There aren’t smart TVs, and the channels were out of order and didn’t match the guide. Still, a great stay with minor inconveniences. 5*

The staff made the whole experience better than expected, and the buffet and social hour were highlights. The amenities and facilities also met expectations. Kudos to the team!

I spent over a month here, and I’m grateful to the staff and management. Matt, Brenda, Joyce, and others at Staybridge Suites in N.B. by IHG showed real devotion to the people staying there. The staff on both day and night shifts were professional. Ms. Maria made sure breakfast was freshly prepared before 6:30am, and she has a spontaneous attitude. The hotel is in a commercial district just off main highway Rt.1 South, with stores a one- to two-minute walk away. They’re also working through a small transition with the amenities for summer arrivals. Great! Much appreciation to everyone.

The hotel was very clean and nice, and I’d return. They’re renovating right now, though, and storage containers on both sides of the building are taking up space and making parking limited.
