Colonial Motel

Manager Ebner deserves a shout-out for going out of his way to keep guests happy. The staff are always there to help if something comes up, and the prices are reasonable. We've stayed many times and will be back. The rooms are very clean, the beds comfortable, and it's easy to get to your room and communicate with the motel staff. The location works well for things to do around North Conway and the White Mountains. It's not a five-star resort, but the customer service and all those practical details earn it five stars from me. I highly recommend Colonial Motel.

We were told we'd get a refund after raising the problem with the front desk, but they said we'd have to handle it through the booking agent. When we followed that process later, the refund was denied. It feels like they lied to us, on top of everything else. The room smelled strongly of urine. I pulled back the fitted sheet and found a large urine stain, along with other small stains that could have been blood or feces. The other negative reviews seem legitimate. Beware.

The room was lovely, the jacuzzi was great, and the man at the front desk was really kind. I'd definitely come back, except for the maintenance guy with a truck who was collecting trash. He yelled at my boyfriend and gave him a lot of attitude for smoking outside the room with the window shut. It was his birthday, and the encounter ruined his whole morning.

The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude. This place is a run-down, ordinary junk shack that's way overpriced and poorly serviced. The rooms are basic and gross. If you're vacationing in North Conway, I suggest staying somewhere else. There are so many beautiful places to choose from.
