Old Field House

Breakfast is a treat for my daughter, especially the fresh chocolate chip waffles. I like sitting with my coffee and watching birds visit the feeder outside the window. The owners make you feel at home, and the rooms are clean, quaint, comfortable, and relaxing. Our family had a lovely stay, a big change from the high volume hotels. We’ll pick Old field house over the grand every time.

We thought there were separate indoor and outdoor pools, but it turned out to be one outdoor pool that’s enclosed, and that worked out beautifully. The kids also loved the basement game room, with its games and puzzles, and the big family room. I even got a load of laundry done. Breakfast was excellent, and the homemade fluffy waffles were a big hit. The owners and their dog Nana made us feel at home. The rooms were clean and had newer carpeting, which I especially appreciated. It was our first visit with my family, including my niece and nephews, and I didn’t have a single complaint. Such a success. The property was quiet and just minutes from everything. We’ve found our new vacation spot and can’t wait to return.

The breakfast buffet was delicious and included in the stay, and the hosts were incredibly kind. Their lovely dog Nana was so sweet, too. We booked the honeymoon suite, which had a jacuzzi tub, kitchen, and fireplace. It was cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen had the basic supplies we needed to cook. The attached screened porch will be nice once the weather warms up. We had an incredible stay and will definitely be back soon.

The owners are really nice and put out a great breakfast. It’s a quick drive to North Conway, but far enough away that it’s quiet. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.
