After time on the slopes, The Lodge at Gore Mountain was a cozy, safe place to come back to. The rooms are basic but clean, with comfortable beds, generous pillows and towels, plus a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. It worked perfectly for a ski weekend, especially with Gore so close. We also liked Becks Tavern on site. The pub food is simple, but the burger and beer were great. It felt inviting, with a fire pit outside and plenty of skiers and boarders around to hang out with. Such a fun mountain. Thanks!

We stayed one night in room #5. It had a bunk bed and a king-size bed, both nice and comfortable. Gore Mountain was just a three-minute drive away, where we went skiing.

The worst part of our two-day ski trip was our night at Gore Mountain Lodge. We paid $299 for one night in room #9, and the place was outdated, not very clean, and a major disappointment for that price. There was nobody in the lobby when we arrived, just a code to get into the room. The toilet overflowed with dirty water across the bathroom floor after it clogged. There was a plunger and a sign about “saving the septic system,” which seemed like a warning in retrospect. I tried plunging it for more than 30 minutes without fixing it. The odor was unbearable, so we left the bathroom window open overnight in 20-degree weather. The bathroom already had visible mold around the tub, and the sheets had hair all over them. I couldn't tell if they had been cleaned. I tried calling management and nobody answered at first. Someone eventually called back and offered to come plunge the toilet, but it was late and my children were asleep, so I declined. I was frustrated to be left in such an unsanitary and uncomfortable situation. They offered neither an apology nor a solution, and the representative tried to explain septic systems to me instead. The lodge showed no accountability or concern. We got no refund or apology, despite what seemed to me like clear neglect of the room and septic system. This property shouldn't be taking guests until its serious infrastructure problems are fixed. Think twice before booking if you don't want your vacation ruined. It was the most traumatic accommodation experience we've ever had.

We loved the location, the yert bar, the people there, and the game room for the kids. We had two rooms for our family, including two children under seven, and things were great until dinner at the on-site restaurant. Before we had even sat down, a shaggy blonde guy started complaining about having to clean up after us. He made rude comments while sitting and enjoying time with someone else between clearing tables. It was 7:30 on a Saturday, and the sign said they closed at 10. We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to get our food to go. We had been having the best stay we could have asked for until we stepped into the most convenient place to grab dinner and give them our business. They were unappreciative and extremely rude to our faces. When we got back, we found someone else's stale food in the kids' bunk bed, a bag of Goldfish. The rooms were dirty, with lots of dirt and dust behind the beds too. Disgusting. Go stay in a tent, it would be a better option. Because of all this, I don't recommend the place.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Gore Mountain lodge.
