We spent five nights at the Goose Pond Inn, and the breakfasts quickly became the best part of each morning. They were amazing. Penny and Jeff also made us feel like family right from arrival, and they take the time to learn every guest's name. The living room had a cozy, shared feel, and it was easy to have warm conversations and make memories with the other guests there. There was tea, coffee, and cookies available around the clock, a thoughtful and tasty touch. The location worked well for exploring, too: The Station Lodge was two minutes away, and Northwood Lodge was eight. This was easily our best bed-and-breakfast stay. Thanks, Penny and Jeff, for such lovely hospitality.

Jeff made breakfast each morning, and the menu you choose from the night before is long: omelets, eggs, pancakes, waffles, and several meat sides. I had omelets twice, and after those big breakfasts at Goose Pond I skipped my usual lunch every day. Jeff used to be a mechanic, but he knows his way around the kitchen. I stayed three nights in the Sleeping Bear room. It was spacious, very clean, and decorated to suit its name. The huge bed was comfortable after skiing, and the large bathroom had a full-size walk-in shower with all the supplies provided. I also enjoyed chatting with other guests in the afternoons and evenings about our days and where we could eat. The innkeepers, Jeff and Penny, were accommodating when a blizzard at home forced me to change my reservation. If you're near North Creek, NY, any time of year, Goose Pond B & B is a place you'll really enjoy.

Penny even had gluten-free cookies waiting when we arrived, and Jeff cleared the snow off our car the morning after it fell. They go above and beyond to make the stay a great experience. The inn itself is cozy and comfortable, and the made-to-order home-cooked breakfasts were amazing before skiing. It took us seven hours to get there for our first trip to Gore Mountain, which felt like a long drive, but we're already planning to return after staying at GPI.

Breakfast is ordered the night before, and everything we had was delicious. The rooms and shared spaces were clean and cozy, and you can tell Penny and Jeff put a lot of care into the inn and its guests. Penny greets everyone and makes them feel welcome. Thanks to both of them for taking such good care of the place. I'd recommend it to anyone staying nearby.

We came for a New Year's ski trip and had such a nice stay. The rooms were clean, and Penny and Jeff were warm and personable. The inn had a lively, welcoming feel, and the couple made fluffy pancakes and omelettes for breakfast. We also loved having the coffee bar available 24/7. We didn't bring our dog, but were glad to find out the place is dog-friendly. Can't wait to come back. Thanks, Penny!
