Grape Arbor Bed and Breakfast

The homemade cookies and superb breakfast were such a treat. We also loved how cozy the rooms and sitting areas felt. The staff were polite, helpful, and hospitable throughout our amazing stay. We'll be back and will recommend it to everyone traveling through the area.

Peggy keeps the cookie jars filled with fresh chocolate chip and oatmeal coconut cookies, which was a lovely bonus. The homemade breakfast was delicious, although a bit too bread-heavy for us. Our room and bed were comfortable, and the garage was handy for storing our bikes. We'd definitely return. The location is great, though I was disappointed that the windows wouldn't open for an evening breeze. There are two sweet cats, but people with allergies can stay in the other house. You might hear a nearby train at night, but we got used to it pretty quickly.

The building has a lot of charm, and the gardens are lovely. Liz and Peggy were kind, gracious hosts, and they served an amazing homemade breakfast on beautiful dishes. We had a delightful weekend at Grape Arbor.

Breakfast was a highlight during our three mornings there. Each day we could choose either a meat and egg casserole type dish or a carb based option, usually pancakes or French toast. There were also different homemade breads, rolls, or muffins each day, along with fresh fruit. Everything was top notch, and the innkeeper kindly accommodated my lactose intolerance. The suites are spacious, comfortable, and quaintly decorated, with basic amenities and homemade chocolate chip cookies. She also let us pick up our wine tasting pass early since we arrived in town ahead of schedule. I'd book this enchanting B&B again. Its central location works well for a Lake Erie Wine Region vacation.
