Elk Lake Lodge

The staff made my special needs child feel truly welcome, and that moved me. The daily breakfast was to die for, and the food was delicious. This is a beautiful resort in an extraordinary part of Adirondack park, with well-kept trails that are easy to navigate. Tremendous staff. Thank you Elk Lake Lodge. I plan to keep booking a week here for a long time.

We’re only 45 minutes away and have already had two wonderful dinners here this summer, but this time we stayed overnight to get the full experience. Sitting by the fire, hiking, kayaking, and eating delicious meals made it easy to relax and leave feeling completely rejuvenated. The location is so pristine that photos just can’t capture it all. Thank you for continuing to preserve this paradise!

Those fresh cut flowers on our table were gorgeous, and the meals were wonderful. Breakfast was hearty enough to power us through hikes and paddles, the lunches were packed perfectly, and dinners were special, beautifully prepared, and included fish and vegetarian options. The staff were kind and welcoming. Staying in one of the Lodge’s “cabins” felt like camp, with all the amenities and none of the hassle :). Elk Lake is a gorgeous setting, with views and access to the neighboring Adirondacks. We hope to follow in other guests’ footsteps and return for years to come.

We celebrated our 20 yr wedding anniversary here for two nights, and it was simply perfect. The Big Tom Cottage was cozy with the fire going on a rainy day. We still ventured out to paddle and take a couple of short hikes despite the rain. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the location is spectacular.
