Jellystone Park of Western New York

The hay rides have always been my favorite. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and I’m bringing all my kiddos for four trips in 2026 to keep the tradition going. We’ve always had a great time here. The park has changed so much since my childhood, and now that we’ve traded the tent and pop-up for a travel trailer, I’m excited to see it again and feel like a kid myself. Can’t wait!

We spent four days here as a family in a tent and had a great time. The lake and water area are fun, though they get crowded at peak hours, especially around the life jacket shed. There are also plenty of outdoor activities, plus go-karts. I camped near the wood playground, which put us close to everything. The main downside is how crowded the whole campground feels. A few more trees and more space would make it feel much more like camping. Staff pick up trash promptly, and the camp store is reasonably priced. Firewood outside the campground is cheap, while the firewood and ice sold onsite aren’t too expensive either. Laundry is available through an app. The activities are great, but they aren’t always well organized. The young employees running the tie-dye workshop and slide made things a bit hectic. There’s an arcade too, but I skipped it with the kids since we came to get them off screens. I’d go back.

We’ve been coming here for the Halloween activities for over four years. There’s loads to do, with games and activities, hay rides, haunted houses, and trick-or-treating. In summer, there’s an outdoor waterpark, fishing, playgrounds, and plenty of other fun things. Highly recommend!

Drew, and Ashley really stood out for their care, attention to detail, and effort to give guests a memorable visit. Everyone we met was welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. The park is beautiful, and the campsites and shared areas are kept immaculately clean. There are lots of amenities for families to enjoy. We had an amazing stay at Jellystone of Western New York in Java, NY. If you want a clean, well-run, family-friendly campground with outstanding service, this is the place.
