The room is clean and spacious, and the location is good, which I'm happy about. But it took six hours to get the extra sheets I'd requested for the pullout. We got into the room at 3, called the number, and were told the onsite person would bring them. That's unacceptable. The hot tub had been drained, though nobody told us it would be closed, and we'd been looking forward to using it. If you need ice or laundry, get it before 9. Those areas are locked then. The door was still locked at 8:30, even though it was supposed to be open at 8.

The room was very clean, but check-in and checkout are handled by AI, so there was no one to meet us or offer advice. I also thought the amenities listed continental breakfast, but there wasn't any. It says it's 2026... One odd thing: a maid tossed a cup of soda out in front of my husband as he was walking up to our room. It didn't actually get on him, but it was strange.

The room was quiet and clean, and we liked having an automated fireplace to use at night. It doesn't require making a real fire. The place is nice and close to the lake. Getting into the room was a hassle. There was nobody to speak with in person, so we had to handle everything by phone. With the area's poor reception, it took an hour of calls and texts back and forth before we finally got the room. We also didn't like that the door uses only a code, with no key card, since it felt insecure. The keypad kept acting up too, and it took several tries to get into our own room.

Alex has handled my reservations every time so far, and he's been amazing. I've probably only written half a dozen reviews in my life, but I had to say something about how helpful he is with every question and how he finds the right room for my budget and preferences. The hotel itself is absolutely perfect too, and I'd agree with all the other positive reviews. Alex is what makes it a five-star place for me. Ten stars.
