Liberty Inn North Lima

There were a few good things: the rate was cheap, the shower was hot, service was friendly, and the room had free Wi-Fi and a mini fridge. But the room smelled foul and was filthy. I found cobwebs in the bathroom and dead bugs on the counters and bedside table. There was a cigarette burn on the comforter, a partly broken AC, and a hole in the wall covered with wallpaper and thumbtacks. Under the bed, which I checked while looking for something, were dead bugs and debris. The main office smelled like urine. Not one of my better motel stays.

We were looking for a deal and found the room adequate for a few nights. It's pet friendly, and even though we arrived at 2 a.m. instead of the expected 11 p.m., the staff woke up when I rang and checked us in politely. I appreciated that. The way on and off the highway was convenient, though getting onto the main road meant crossing the highway exit ramp, which felt dangerous. The room looked clean at first, but the corners and spaces behind things showed it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. It also felt a little 'gamey,' especially after the first night on the bed. By the second night, the sheets already felt gross to me. You get what you pay for. If you want something nicer, you'll need to pay more and look elsewhere.

Nasty, gross place that looks like it's still decorated with the same beds and TV from the 70s. The toilet barely flushed and kept backing up. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

I've stayed here many times while expediting freight. The rooms are clean, the bedding is fresh, and there's nice hot water. My one real downside is the lack of security cameras to protect your vehicle if someone messes with it.
