Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, North Little Roc

The beds were the highlight for us. We had a room with two queens, and they were the best hotel beds we’ve slept in for a long time. The sheets were comfortable too. Staff were friendly and attentive, breakfast was good, and the rooms were very clean, with a working fridge and TV, lots of outlets, and decent Wi-Fi for streaming. Downloading or gaming might be a stretch. Our bathroom was clean and usable, though the tub leaked a little. The doors swing open quickly, so take care when opening them. The building looks worn despite some updates. Paint is peeling and chipped, and both elevators look beat up, with cosmetic damage and very soft floors that seemed to be held down by packaging tape. They work, but close very fast and felt a bit sketchy. The parking lot is odd but felt safe, with surveillance signs and a little trash around. It’s just outside downtown Little Rock by a huge high school. We stayed for the weekend and got what we needed: sleep, a hot shower, breakfast, and Wi-Fi. If you’re after something fancy, this isn’t it, but the price is hard to beat for a clean place near downtown, and the staff are very friendly.

The staff are great, but the place itself is disgusting. The hotel room floors were filthy, with dead bugs along the edges and in the corners, and the bathrooms were terrible.

Breakfast was a hit with the family, lots of choices and tasty waffles. The staff were kind, and our room was clean and well stocked. It had a warm, family feel and was a great experience.

Check-in was easy, and the hotel is right off the freeway, but it looks nothing like the pictures. The pool was covered and closed, the elevator was very noisy, and the room was average. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty, and when I pressed it, the holder seemed to break and fall. I didn’t stay for breakfast. Now it looks like they’re charging my card $50 for that plastic holder. Read the reviews before booking.
