We were looking forward to a beachside stay for about five days from late July into August with our 19-year-old daughter and 13-year-old son. The view was nice, but little else worked for us, and I wouldn't stay there again even for the view. The condo was dirty, with sand, pretzels, and dust around, and we had to vacuum dirt and sand off the beds before making them. We were expected to put the bedding on ourselves, and the beds were already made unpleasant by a sagging double bed my husband and I shared and popcorn in my son's pullout bed. His queen pullout mattress was incredibly thin. The two bedrooms had double beds, as I knew they would. The smell of old cigarettes hit us as soon as we got in, after we struggled to open the door. I'm allergic to smoke, and the couch seemed to be where most of the smell came from. We got one roll of toilet paper and one paper towel roll, despite there being two bathrooms, and couldn't find trash bags. I brought laundry soap, but the dryer lint filter latch was missing, so the filter wouldn't stay in and laundry got sucked into the vent. I couldn't find scissors in the kitchen drawers, and opening them also made the refrigerator door open because it was placed too close. Before doing anything else, we had to shop for cleaning supplies, hand soap, trash bags, and toilet paper.
