Best Western Plus Lakeland

The breakfast had plenty of good options, and the whole place felt welcoming and safe. Staff were helpful and friendly from check-in through checkout, which made things easy and stress free. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everything felt fresh and organized. The Best Western Lakeland was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. For the price, it was excellent value. We'd happily return and recommend it to anyone visiting Lakeland.

After a long day of travel, this was a great place to stop. I stayed one night on 10/24/25, but an unforeseen circumstance delayed me until 1 a.m. The front desk attendant was courteous and helpful when I arrived. I'd called ahead too, and he was professional and informative then as well. The rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of options and was stocked adequately. Vernice at the front desk was upbeat and gave my day a good start. I'd consider staying here again without hesitation if my travels bring me this way.

I was here for work for about a month. The rooms were clean, spacious, and accommodating, breakfast was plentiful and appetizing, and the staff were attentive and personable. During my first week, five different staff members asked as soon as I entered the lobby whether I had a reservation or belonged there. It got old, though I understand why they'd ask. And no bacon, ever. Too consistent. The room lights run through a bypass at the entrance. You put in your key to power the lights and some outlets. The bathroom lights are tied to it too, which could leave someone showering in the dark if a roommate removes the key to avoid getting locked out. After a minute, the power cuts, with no time for the person in the bathroom to call out. I'm an amputee who refuses to sit while showering, so that's a real concern for me. I've worked on low voltage circuits and electricity for over eight years, and I don't think it should work that way. Best Western, give me a shout and we can discuss revisions.

We booked a room with our two kids. The staff were super friendly, and the room looked clean at first. But the beds and pillows were uncomfortable, and we found cockroaches crawling on the floor in the middle of the night, so we tried to get everything off the floor. Someone on our floor was definitely smoking weed, enough that even my kids noticed. I hope they deal with the roaches. I know this is Florida, but I don't want to bring anything home that I didn't arrive with.
