Knights Inn Madison Heights, VA

The staff were wonderful, and we’re grateful they helped us out while we looked for a place to rent. We don’t know where we’d have ended up without them. The weekly and nightly rates are both good, and they welcome pets too. Really great place.

The price is the best around here, and the rooms are nice. Staff were incredibly kind, too. It’s in a decent spot, right across from a gas station with really good food, with plenty of other solid food options within two miles.

We stayed four nights at the Madison Heights Virginia location, booking two women alone on a last minute trip because of my friend’s mother’s health. It was $80 a night, which suited our budget, but it wasn’t worth it. We were exhausted from driving overnight, or we would’ve left right away. The room was filthy: dirt under the “fresh” covers, a gross microwave, a pile of yuck in the corner, and a permanent ring around the tub. The tub dripped, toilet leaked and needed two flushes, and a housekeeper told us he’d tried but couldn’t fix the toilet. The floor pieces were popping up, the end table had ugly water damage, and a large bug darted away near the mirror. There was no battery cover on the remote, so the batteries could fall out, and the door had no chain. That didn’t make us feel secure. When we raised the issues with the “franchise” owners, they said we should have told them instead of the housekeeper. We wouldn’t recommend this place. A decent two star down the street costs just a couple dollars more. I’m adding photos of parts of the room.

We spent a week here, and the rooms were nicer than we expected for such a good price. The whole staff were friendly and really helpful. Niraj at the front desk especially made check-in and the rest of our stay easy and enjoyable. Best value in town!
