Ocean Escape Condos North

The location made it easy to get to shopping, restaurants, and all the Myrtle Beach attractions. My husband and I loved staying here. Everything was spotless, and the modern, sleek decor made the place feel like home. We can’t wait to come back for another great getaway!

The photos of the rooms are very misleading, and cleanliness was nowhere to be found. The wallpaper was bubbling, there were no clean towels, and no washing machine to wash them. There was no power in the master bedroom either. After two maintenance calls and a technician spending hours here, it still wasn’t fixed. Customer service was HORRENDOUS. It may be a cheaper option for Myrtle, but you get what you pay for. I’d strongly suggest paying a little extra instead of being stuck somewhere that seems to care more about greed than customer service.

The furniture and shower doors still had stickers on them and looked like they came from a cheap Amazon or Wayfair dealer. It didn’t feel like a great value for the money. On the first day, water sprayed out of the wall when I used the faucet. I told them they could fix it after checkout, but the next morning there was no water anywhere in the room. Maintenance said it was probably because other people in the complex were showering and the room was upstairs. Seems like there may be some issues, and maybe it was rented too soon after being built.

We drove all the way here with kids aged 4, 6, and 14, and of course they kept asking if we were there yet every 15 minutes. I had booked a month ago and had a confirmation email for July 26-29, since my grandkids were visiting from New Jersey and flying home the following weekend. We never got a text saying the room was ready, so I called. One person said we were booked for August 1st instead. That couldn't be right, we had plane tickets for the kids to go home that weekend. I called three different people, sat on hold forever, and nobody called back, but they still took our prepaid money. We had to book an Airbnb at the last minute. When I called for a refund, an hour and a half later they said they had just been about to call me. Don't stay here! It also doesn't look like the website.
