Raintree Villas by Elliott Beach Rentals

We had a beautiful oceanfront condo with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a screened back deck.

A great spot for a small family, with a big, clean, lovely pool. The hard part was carrying our things up and down the stairs, since there’s no elevator. It’s close to everything you might need, but away from the big resort crowds. The beach walkway is easy to use, and the view is hard to beat. From the beachfront porch, and through the living room and master bedroom curtains, you can see the ocean. It says it sleeps six, but I think that’d feel crowded. The couch is comfy, though, and we’d definitely stay again.

The condo was loud and crowded, nothing like the quieter, family friendly beach I expected. We also arrived to a place that needed cleaning: we swept throughout and cleaned both bathrooms, but still found food under the kitchen table and on a couple of chairs. The shower in the smaller bathroom needs attention. I’m very disappointed, and this was a complete waste of money. We’re stuck staying the whole week, but I won’t come back or rent from Elliott rentals again.

The price for a November getaway was great, and the place has modern comforts. It took me a little while to get used to the door codes and how everything worked. The beds felt too firm for me, and having a giant TV with no HD seemed odd. Still, I’d highly recommend it.
