Checking in and out through Condo World was simple, and the view was outstanding. This was our first time renting a condo, and we were happy with it: the place was clean and the linens smelled freshly washed.

There’s a hot tub and pool on the grounds. Unit PH7 is oceanfront on the 12th floor, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, and more.
Our stay in PH05 on the 13th floor started with a good room, except the master bathroom had no hot water. Darren from maintenance, I think that was his name, worked on it despite having a packed week, and I appreciate that. Then on Wednesday a “fire pump” burst on the 8th floor, above the building’s only set of elevators. Things went downhill from there. The elevators were out for 54 hours, until around 6 Friday evening, just as we were getting ready to head home. Climbing 13 flights in a stairwell with no climate control for that long made this a miserable vacation experience for me, and I’m not usually one to complain. Mona, the property manager, didn’t offer a solution, and Condo World, who arranged the condo, didn’t either. Neither offered compensation for the outage. Condo World said the owner was responsible for compensation; Steve, the owner, said it wasn’t his responsibility and that owners receive no compensation for renting their units. Someone’s lying, and I won’t use either of them again.
Watching the sunrise over the ocean from here is wonderful. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend it for the view.
I’ve just finished a week here, and a major rupture in the sprinkler system flooded the elevator in this 13-story building with residents and vacationers in it. Several sprinkler pipes are marked “replace ASAP,” and there are rusty pipes and fittings visible in the stairwell. I don’t know how NMB handles fire suppression inspections, but I’m guessing inspectors don’t want to climb the stairs. Most people probably don’t take them and notice the condition. Stay here at your own risk. I’m glad nobody was in the elevators when the current ran through them.
