The view was fantastic, and the rooms were clean with plenty of seating. The bedrooms were very cozy, and even the small bathrooms added to that snug feeling. We had a very nice visit and will come back.

I spent two weeks at Waterpointe 1 and would definitely consider it when my spouse and I buy a vacation condo. I've stayed in several North Myrtle Beach condos over the years, and this was one of the better ones, thanks to its upkeep and atmosphere. You can tell the HOA and residents take good care of it. A few residents I spoke with were friendly and welcoming, and everyone seemed like one big happy family. It was quiet at night, without the rowdy, loud guests I've encountered at about half the places I've stayed. The common areas were very clean and looked recently updated. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub, which were just the right temperature, as well as the outdoor pool and kiddie pool. There are two walkways to the beach, both with places to wash off the sand on the way back.
The only real downside of our April 3-18 stay was the construction noise. It came and went on dry weekdays, and could be really disruptive when our four-month-old was napping. It's temporary, though, so keep that in mind. We stayed in Condo 1006 on the 10th floor, a clean, well-maintained three-bedroom, two-bath direct oceanfront home with comfortable furnishings. The 6-by-16 balcony had a table and chairs, but the sliding door and screen could be difficult to open and close. The full kitchen was well stocked with cookware and had a dishwasher, disposal, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and washer and dryer built in, though there wasn't much room for groceries. The master suite had a king bed, an ensuite tub and shower, and a nearly full-wall floor-to-ceiling ocean view that was breathtaking. The second bedroom had a queen bed, while the very cozy, tiny third room had two twins. The second bath, just off the kitchen, had a nice step-in shower. The carpet looked new throughout, and there was also a sleeper sofa, counter seating, and a table with chairs. The elevator was fast. The indoor heated pool was the perfect temperature, and there was a hot tub. We didn't use the outdoor pool in April; it was covered because of balcony maintenance. Each bedroom had a dresser, and the two larger ones also had closets. Nice towels and linens were provided. Valet service and shopping carts made it easy to bring in luggage and groceries. A nice woman was often around sweeping and keeping the building clean. Restaurants, Walgreens, CVS, shops, and groceries were close enough for me to walk, less than a mile round trip. Mr & Mrs House, who manage several rentals in the building, were wonderful: kind, helpful, generous with their time, and clearly concerned that we enjoy our stay. Even with the irritating construction noise, I'd give this condo stay five stars.
From the outside, this cozy resort looks a little unassuming, but once inside, I wanted to live here. Our condo faced right over the ocean, and the indoor pool was just right for a rainy day. We loved our vacation!
It's an older building, but it's kept in good shape and is being updated. This was our second year here, and we love having everything close by. It's an easy walk to abiding, which was great for my disabled parents and my broken ankle. The parking is across the street, but the walk really isn't any farther than at other complexes.
