Howard Johnson by Wyndham North Platte

No refrigerator in the room was my only complaint, since we were traveling across the country with lots of perishables. We made do with plenty of ice. The room itself was nice and clean, and the price was great, especially with our dog along. Breakfast was good too, with biscuits and gravy that were better than you usually get at a free hotel breakfast. I'd recommend the place.

The continental breakfast was filling and really good, and there was room to park our pickup with a good-sized trailer. The room had been recently renovated, with comfy beds, a fridge and microwave, and a roomy shower with several shower heads. I had a great stay and would come back.

The desk staff were friendly and professional, and they did a nice job with the continental breakfast, including some excellent biscuits and gravy. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by what a good deal it was. The room was clean and well furnished, with a kitchenette and full-size fridge. Apart from the outside door, it could've passed for a room at a much more expensive hotel. The bathtub and exterior walkway were the only parts that looked worn.

The room looked almost new, from its decor and furniture to the recently redone bathroom and kitchenette. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we were pleased with the stay for what we paid. Finding the hotel was easy, right off I-80, and the rooms were very nice. Everything felt freshly renovated and the price was quite reasonable for the quality.
