La Quinta Inn AND Suites North Platte

We were heading home after my brother's funeral, traveling with our two pets, and were so glad to find a place like this. We had a lovely room, and the staff were the nicest we encountered on the whole trip. This was the best motel we stayed at along the way.

Our family of six all slept well, the room and facility were clean, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was filling, and the front desk staff were friendly. The woman serving breakfast was especially kind and helpful. Our family suite had a king bed and a full pull-out sofa in one room, plus two full beds in the other. It was a perfect quick overnight stop on our road trip and a great deal with several kids. No complaints, and we'd stay again.

The location was handy, just a minute from the highway, and the woman serving breakfast was kind and helpful. She brought us drinks and had good suggestions for local activities if we come back another time. The stay itself was disappointing. We asked for extra pillows, but none were provided. The shower and tub were very worn, the bed was uncomfortable, and both the pool and hot tub were closed. The walls didn't block enough sound, so we heard every little noise from the halls and other rooms.

We felt safe in the area, the hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly. The pool hours were the best I've seen anywhere, and the price was great. There are quite a few restaurants close by too. We'd definitely stay again.
