Americas Best Value Inn & Suites North Port

My brother came in from the Las Vegas office. The place was open all night, and they walked him to his room and gave him the key. They were nice people. I think the owner was an Indian guy.

I left without staying because the place was absolutely disgusting. There were blood stains on the pillowcase, the lamp was broken, and the couch looked like it came from the garbage, with no cushions or padding. Paint was peeling off the walls. The owner, Manthanel, lied and said I never showed up, then refused to refund me, so I wasted $80 on the place. He’s the worst kind of guy, and shouldn’t be a hotel owner.

The pool was empty with trash in it, and the whole property looked abandoned. Inside, the room smelled so strongly of smoke that my mom could barely sleep. The duvets had holes, the ceiling looked moldy, and there were bugs around. They say breakfast is available, but there wasn’t any. The photos don’t match what the hotel is really like, and the place felt disturbing, like someone was always watching. It’s not worth the price. Go somewhere else!

I spent the last of my money on a room here, otherwise I would’ve left as soon as I saw it. The place looks nothing like the photos and is filthy, with stains on the bedding, walls, ceiling, pretty much everywhere. I woke up to a huge roach in the bathroom. The walls are so thin you hear every sound from the neighboring rooms. I slept in my clothes on top of the covers. I’ll never stay here again, or at any affiliated hotel.
