Comfort Inn & Suites Charlottesville Hollymead Town Center

The noise through the walls was a real problem. I could hear the TV next door, conversations, and people passing in the hall all night, so I barely slept. If you're a light sleeper, I'd avoid it. The attendant was nice and breakfast was basic, but the room was clean, the shower had strong hot water, and the fitness area and location were good. It could be a decent stay if the walls were thicker.

The room was such a pleasant surprise: lovely decor, a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bed, and everything was clean. The layout is amazing, and it made me want to stay longer. At check-in on Halloween 2025, I got a super friendly welcome, and they were sweet to me and my service dog. From the front door through to the room, the whole experience felt like what a hotel should be. A breath of fresh air compared with other hotels in Charlottesville, VA. Amazing Comfort Inn & Suites Charlottesville Hollymead Town Center, Virginia ❤️

I waited a total of 30 minutes after arriving, including 20 minutes after other guests told me they had already been waiting half an hour. No desk attendant appeared during that time. When one finally came, he seemed high and was rude. He tapped at the keys for a few minutes, then walked off and never came back. The worst hotel service experience I've had.

We couldn't reach anyone by phone to ask for early check-in. The number rang endlessly, and when I called from the hotel, it didn't ring at the desk. Staff gave me that same number when I asked how to contact them, which left me feeling like customer service simply wasn't available. At 3 pm, our room still wasn't ready, so we had to take a downgraded room to get ready for our event. When we returned, the entire place smelled like weed. Terrible experience, stay somewhere else.
