The staff were friendly, and being close to the interstate was convenient. Breakfast had some good choices, especially the biscuits and gravy, which I liked best. I just wish there had been more fresh fruit.

The staff were so accommodating and pleasant, every one of them. That kind of kindness is rare, and they went above and beyond. My dad spent my whole life managing hotels and resorts, and I was chief engineer at a 5 star hotel, so I notice this stuff. I’ll choose this hotel whenever I’m in the area. Great job to all of them!

We’ve stayed here for the second year in a row because it’s so convenient for the Black food truck festival, which we’ve attended two years straight. The hotel is very clean, the staff are awesome, and breakfast is delicious, especially the breakfast staff. My one complaint is the mattresses. Please replace them, it’s time.

We were extremely disappointed. The room was dark and smelled bad, the bathtub was dirty, and the humidity was so high that we couldn’t feel comfortable. The lobby had felt very humid too, and the front desk girl said there’d been a power outage a few days earlier. We had booked two nights, but when we went back to ask for a refund, they refused. We have a small child with asthma, so this was a health and safety issue for us. They still wouldn’t refund us.
